Our desire at Galilee is to have an environment where a biblical community of believers are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, glorify God by loving and serving Him, and by making Him known to the unsaved.   We do this through our teaching programs.

Weddings

 

First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church considers it an honor to share in your wedding experience. We consider a wedding to be a covenant agreement between a man and a woman confirmed before God and joined into one. First Galilee M.B.C. asks all couples marrying here to seriously consider the central role of God in the marriage relationship and to understand their wedding as a sacred  event involving all of the people attending. Premarital counseling is required of all couples that marry here.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Does F.G.M.B.C. allow non-members to have their wedding at their church?

  • Yes, we do.  Weddings may be scheduled no more than six months prior to the wedding date.


When are weddings held during the week?

  • Weddings may be scheduled on Saturdays at or after 11:00 a.m.

 

May I come see the facility? 

  • Yes, you are welcome to come in and walk around whenever it is open. If you would prefer a tour, please contact the church office to set up a time.

 
Can I book a wedding by calling the church?

  • Yes, you must contact the church office directly to book a wedding.

 
What are the fees for having a wedding at F.G.M.B.C.?

  • Please contact our Administrator at 559-252-8418 and they can give you the specifics as to the fees associated with having your wedding here at F.G.M.B.C..

Sunday School

No matter who you are, we have a Sunday school class that is just the right fit for you. Come visit one of our classes this Sunday at 9:45 AM.

 

Adults
You may retire from work, but you never retire from the work of the Lord. Our ministry gives senior adults a place to continue to grow in their faith and to show the wisdom they have achieved through experience.

 

Young Adults (18 ~ 25) at  6:00 p.m. Sunday Evenings

The young adult ministry offers a variety of opportunities for worship, Bible study, personal and spiritual growth, recreation, and fellowship. At the heart of the young adult ministry is the desire to help young singles and married couples build strong relationships with Jesus Christ as well as within the church family. It is a place where one can come and find a whole new group of caring friends as well as God's love.

 

Youth (7th ~ 12 Grades)
All teens are making decisions that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives. We challenge our teens with God's perspective on life issues such as peer pressure, work ethic, standards, appropriate relationships, entertainment, and the practicality of biblical doctrine.

 

Children (Kindergarten ~ 6th Grades)
Children are a gift from God. At F.G.M.B.C., we place a great emphasis on Biblical instruction. Each teacher is equipped with an ability to present the truth of the Bible clearly in a thought-provoking, engaging, and interesting way that is appropriate for each age group. Your child will enjoy exciting activities and interaction with children of their own age while learning the truths of God's Word.

 

Preschool (2 ~ 4 years old)
Loving nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment for toddlers. Parents can have peace of mind while they attend one of the adult Sunday school classes or one of the church services. We take the care of your little ones seriously and desire to give them the attention that we would want for our own children.

Evangelism Ministry:
 

The purpose of the Evangelism Ministry is to mobilize the entire Church body (every member) to fulfill the Lord Jesus Christ’s mandate for His Church to make disciples of all nations, which is the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19, 20.  We have implemented a systematic, comprehensive and practical Evangelism program at our church. Every member can actively participate in our Evangelism program.  The program also includes Evangelism training for all new and current members.  First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church desire is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people everywhere.
